Please Don't Speak Geek

I hear this frequently from many age groups. Just because a person has a computer, by no means, does this make them a computer expert. There is no need to be.
Email; many software applications and web based email programs make it easy to just point and click to communicate and write letters.
Surf the internet; with shortcuts and bookmarks even searching the internet is a point and click.
Pay bills; most banks have a bill pay feature to use right from your online account. The banks even have customer service Representatives to assist you in setting up your account.
The big question is, who will keep you safe? If you don't know the ins and outs of what things look like and what to click and not click on, how will you stay away from bad websites? Yes, there is an app for that. Managed Endpoint Security. 817-601-5349
Now that we have decided that the computer can be simplified, here comes the internet of things, IoT. This includes all things that can connect to the internet;
The lights in your house, your car, the TV, the security system, the garage door opener, the home cameras, even the latest refrigerators or coffeepots can now connect to the internet. It is mind boggling.
Just remember, you only need to know what you want to know for now. It is like turning off the news when sports comes on because you are not interested in sports.
For everything else, find a friendly, non geek speaking, tech to help you setup your desired internet of things so that a push of a button or a sound of a word will make things do what you want it to do. The hardest question you will need to answer is, what do you want to make it do? We may even be able to help you with that answer as well. 817-601-5349
